Why did we create Hear Now?

We all want to feel connected to our loved ones and feel bad when it is not possible. As nurses, we see how missed connections during periods of isolation cause distress for patients, family members, and the staff caring for the patient.

We want to make it possible for patients to always be able to hear the voices of their loved ones, even if they can’t pick up the phone. 

How are we different?

Hear Now is a one-way communication platform, designed to adapt to the workflow of staff or family.  Patients can use it independently to receive messages, but a caregiver can also assist if help is needed.  This flexibility helps families and friends know that their messages of encouragement can be heard at any time. 

It is easy to use! 

  1. Create an account to use the platform.

  2. Share your account with loved ones who you want to receive messages from. 

  3. Provide access to your account with a convenient QR code to a caregiver who can access your messages and play them for you.
